Hi, I'm Samantha! I am a certified AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, licensed Spinning Instructor, and certified Disq Trainer. I am also a wife and mother to an adorable 2 1/2 year old girl, Blake, and another girl arriving in September 2019 ! Over the last 10 years, I have taught at several of the best gyms and health clubs all over the Boston area. Fitness has always been my passion, love, and healthy obsession and I am so fortunate that I get to share that with my clients every day!
Working out and training is my happy place. As a fitness instructor, I strive to motivate people to work out and be their best self. My goal is to teach my students how to change their outlook on fitness, how to achieve goals, get results, and most importantly have FUN! Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, I have extensive experience teaching individuals of all fitness levels.
How many of you are bored with your workouts? Doing the same thing over and over again can be exhausting - your body will eventually hit a plateau and you will slowly stop seeing results. I’m all about spicing things up, especially when it comes to your workouts! Mix it up and try Yoga, Spinning, Kickboxing, Bootcamps, Tabata, Strength Training, HIIT, etc. Workouts should never be static! They should always be evolving, challenging, and once again FUN and enjoyable.
Fitness is a great way to express yourself. Taking some "you time” everyday is important – both mentally and physically. My goal is to help my clients be more confident and live a happy, healthy, fit lifestyle. Let’s be honest, it's so easy to get caught up in the daily grind (work, friends, family obligations) that we too often forget to take care of ourselves. We all make excuses – “I’m tired. It’s too hot. It’s raining. I forgot my socks” – you name it, I’ve heard it! I want my clients to feel confident and strong, not only in their fitness routine, but in their everyday life!
My teaching style
I strongly believe everyone (including myself) needs a little push and some tough love to create change in your body and in your life. On that note, I guess you can say that my teaching style is tough, but it’s also energetic, motivating, and FUN! Whether you like group classes, or you enjoy one-on-one personalized training sessions, I am here to help find what works best for you!
A little bit more about Samantha
I am a Boston girl – born and raised in the North Shore (the best shore in my opinion)! Aside from teaching classes, I LOVE being a student. I try to take new classes whenever I have down time. I’m constantly learning, creating, and exploring new ways to challenge my students and keep my classes fresh! When I'm not at the gym, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, paddle boarding, skiing, traveling, going to the beach, and of course good food and wine!
